We are incredibly grateful and appreciative of this award. As a boot-strapped, black-female owned business we pride ourselves in knowing that that description is not an obstacle but an asset. The fact that we are able to exist in the space despite the odds is pretty impressive. And we do this knowing that we unequivocally without a doubt deserve to be present and represented in the beauty and “clean” beauty space.
