For a long time, perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause were shrouded in secrecy, leaving many ashamed and embarrassed about seeking and extending support for this sacred rite of passage.

We've released old, outdated and misleading paradigms for new personalized approach that recognizes menopause as a transformative life state. So if your parents, aunty, cousin, friend, primary care, or gyno don't talk to you about menopause, the pause pod will. I'll peek into the lives of people experiencing the pause and tap into experts for their take on the pausal phase. Join me!

LOOKING FOR A PEER TO LIAISE WITH DURING THE PAUSAL PHASE OF YOUR LIFE? THE PAUSE POD IS IT! PULL UP!

"I have no one to talk to. My circle does not talk about aging well, perimenopause or menopause. It's as if they don't exist. This podcast is a pleasure. The heartfelt and honest conversations remind me that I am not alone and of the importance of community for wellbeing. Thank you for creating a community for menopausal people, especially ones like me that feel alone."

Ten  years ago I quit my biology/health teaching job and set off on a self-care sabbatical. The eat, pray, love-like journey got me nicknamed the "self-care connoisseur," and lead to lots of learning and unlearning, starting a beauty and wellness business, shifting my teaching style and who I teach, and deepening my love and passion for health and wellbeing. And all of it went down while in the throes of perimenopause.

I'M DIXIE – BIOLOGY & HEALTH TEACHER, QIGONG PRACTITIONER, SELF-CARE CONNOISSEUR, BEAUTY/WELL-being FOUNDER. & HEALTH/WELL-being workshop facilitator.
