Her Self-care Rituals: Tracey Kearse

No one can determine what’s best for you but you. Today we’re featuring an amazing woman and beauty founder who knows exactly what she wants and needs. And she gives it to herself. That’s self-care. Sit back, relax and enjoy reading her sacred rituals.

Tell us a bit about yourself. Where do you live? Where are you from? And what are you creating?

Born and raised in Severna Park, MD but now living in New Jersey with my husband and son, I am the Founder, CEO, and Chief Chemist of AcARRE™️, a natural prestige brand of multi-use bioactive beauty products for the beauty minimalist to age beautifully, based on modernized African and Pacific Islander ancestry elements delivering multi-level benefits, helping to re-balance the microbiome, bringing balance to the scalp and skin. I am an esteemed chemical engineer who has worked in product development and marketing for over fifteen years.

While working for a skin and hair care company, I was approached by a friend looking for a product that she could use on her scalp. At this time, my sister also came forward requesting a high-quality multi-use product for her face and scalp. These inquiries planted the seed for me to develop a product with multiple uses for skin and hair. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, the decision to begin my own company was a natural one, and soon AcARRE™️ was formed.

Share with us some of the self-care rituals you practice:

Daily

Working out to keep moving and meditation to keep me centered. Also, I write daily to do list to keep myself in order and on track. As I check each thing off it makes me feel good for what I am able to achieve daily.

Weekly

Meal prepping to make evenings after work and school easier and take away the guessing of what to fix. And doing my hair for the week to show how versatile I can be and it’s relaxing to take time to myself to do this.

Monthly

A mani and pedi, whether I do them myself or go to the salon makes me feel put together. And just taking the time to pamper myself is freeing.

Annually

Getting my eyebrows microbladed. They have always been thin and being able to get this done makes me feel whole. Also, going for my annual doctor visits has always been a self-care ritual in taking care of myself. So I make sure to do that but anytime alone out of the house by myself is self-care for me, lol.

I'm a teacher, beauty/wellness founder, and Qigong Instructor. My work exists to support women and people experiencing the menopausal transition on their health and wellness journey. I believe in the sacredness, wholeness, and expansiveness of well-being and the menopausal passage, and I care deeply about teaching and creating experiences and safe spaces that provide support.
