For the people experiencing menopause (peri & post) and those who want to support them. Pull up in your fave resting spot. Plug in your earphones or pump up the volume on your stereo. Lean in. We're talking menopause.
For too long time, perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause have been shrouded in secrecy, leaving many ashamed and embarrassed about seeking and extending support for this sacred passage.
However, the tide is turning. We've released old, outdated, misleading paradigms, and limiting beliefs, and embraced new, personalized approaches that honor menopause as a pivotal phase of life.
So, if your parents, aunt, cousin, friend, primary care provider, or gynecologist hasn't opened up a dialogue about menopause with you, the Pause Pod will. I'll peek into the lives of people experiencing the pause and tap into experts for their take on the pausal phase. Join me!

"I have no one to talk to. My circle does not talk about aging well, perimenopause or menopause. It's as if they don't exist. This podcast is a pleasure. The heartfelt and honest conversations remind me that I am not alone and of the importance of community for wellbeing. Thank you for creating a community for menopausal people, especially ones like me that feel alone."
The heartfelt and honest conversations REMIND me that I am not alone.

Ten years ago I quit my biology/health teaching job and set off on a self-care sabbatical. The eat, pray, love-like journey got me nicknamed the "self-care connoisseur," and among other things, lead to lots of learning and unlearning, starting a beauty and wellness business, and deepening my love and passion for health and wellbeing. And all of it went down while in the throes of perimenopause.
